Jayne Bloch, Licensed Psychoanalyst and Parenting Specialist, will lead a six-week workshop to help you better understand your parenting style and be a more effective parent. You will be able to share your experiences in a collaborative and non-judgmental setting.
By getting in touch with the difficulty feelings that arise when parenting a preschooler and gaining an understanding of your child’s developmental capacities, you will:
- Gain greater awareness of how your own childhood experiences impact your parenting
- Learn how to handle conflicts better
- Build your confidence through strategies that help your child thrive
- Set appropriate limits and related more effectively
- Come to appreciate the challenges and rewards of parenthood
When: Mondays from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. (April 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17 and 24)
Where: Private residence on 86th Street (between CPW and Columbus Ave)
Fee: $275 for six sessions ($245 if you register by March 26)
