JAYNE BLOCH is a licensed psychoanalyst, psychotherapist, couples counselor and parenting specialist who has been in private practice on Manhattan’s Upper West Side for more than 15 years. Jayne works with individuals on a wide range of issues including relationship problems, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, work dissatisfaction, sexual abuse, and addiction, among others. Jayne leads parenting groups and workshops and consults with parents on child-related issues in a self-reflective, safe and non-judgmental way. Jayne helps couples communicate more effectively and find greater harmony in their relationships.
Jayne has a BA and Masters degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University and is proficient in Portuguese. She completed her psychoanalytic training at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP). She is a supervisor and training analyst at NPAP, where she is also Chair of the Public Relations committee and a member of the Board of Directors. Jayne is currently a fellow of the Anni Bergman Parent-Infant Training Program.
